Brandon is a homegrown Wisconsinite who received a Bachelors of Science from the University of Stevens Points, where he studied economics. During his time at UWSP, Brandon became involved with a partially student-led sci-fi, fantasy and gaming convention and eventually transitioned into the business side. He served for two years as treasurer, guiding finances and convention growth. In that time Brandon learned the impact of empowering students to accomplish feats they believed to be outside their abilities. He now approaches the Central Sands governance board, armed with the knowledge from those experiences and hopes to contribute to the success of the high school. Brandon believes in Central Sand’s core values of “curiosity, compassion, courage and community,” being a life-long adventurer and seeker of knowledge himself.
When Brandon is not aiding with board duties he enjoys hiking and exploring Wisconsin’s many parks, tinkering in his workshop, podcasts and weekly sessions of Dungeons & Dragons with long time friends.
He resides in Stevens Point with his partner of many years.
