electives

Central Sands offers a variety of elective courses taught by our staff and artists in residence. During the first semester of the school year, electives center around two all-school events: The Renaissance Faire and our winter play. We work together as a whole school community to put on these events, and there are a variety of learning experiences on offer in their development. Students can earn credit in theater, music, marketing, carpentry, handwork, art, cooking, or career and technical education.

In our second semester, students can choose from a variety of elective courses that include: Archery, Philosophy, World Religion, Chamber Orchestra, Yoga, Drawing, Oil Painting, Health, Poetry, Flag Football, Birdwatching, Folk Dance, Geology, Cooking, Career and College Readiness, Disc Golf, and Weaving.

Spanish I and II are offered both semesters.
