    Q: Can I purchase admission with a credit or debit card?
    A: At this time, we are only accepting cash payment for Faire entry

    Q: Do I need to come in costume?
    A: Costumes are encouraged but not required for your day at the Faire

    Q: Is this an indoor or outdoor event
    A: The Renaissance Faire will take place outside, in Central Sands High School's side yard rain or shine.

    Q: Where shall I park?
    A: Guest parking is across the street from the school, on County Road K alongside the corn field. There will be a small number of handicap spaces available directly in front of the grounds.

    Q: Where are the bathrooms?
    A: There will be a wheel-chair accessible port-a-john on site. Attendees will also have access to the basement bathrooms, via the egress exits in the side yard. Our building is old and guests must descend a short flight of stairs to access the bathrooms in the school.

    Q: Since the event is outdoors, are pets allowed?
    A: Official Service animals are welcomed. However, emotional Support Animals and pets are not allowable on school grounds

  • Behavior: Central Sands Renaissance Faire is a family friendly event and we ask our attendees to conduct themselves accordingly. Disruptive and offensive behavior is prohibited. Guests who refuse to abide by safety regulations, who appear intoxicated or otherwise under the influence of illicit substances and/or exhibit belligerent behavior will be asked to leave the premise without a refund. Failure to comply will be escalated to the proper authorities.

    Language: There will be zero tolerance for offensive language. Attendees using excessive profanity, slurs or other abusive langue (including gestures and symbols) will be asked to leave and ineligible for refund.

    Dress Guidelines: This is a family friendly, school event. Therefore, clothing should adequately cover all "private" areas: chest, buttocks & groin regardless of gender identity/expression. All clothing should be devoid of rude, vulgar or otherwise offensive images. Central Sands reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could distract from the experience of other attendees. Those in violation will be asked to leave.

    Props & Weapons Policy: The following items are strictly prohibited: Functional firearms, knives, razor blades, live-steel weapons, or objects of any kind capable of causing harm are strictly forbidden at the discretion of Central Sands.

    Any "weaponry" accompanying costumed guests must be made of rubber, plastic or wood and checked at ticketing. Prop weapons will receive a discreet flag, to indicate they have been checked. Guests found without a checked prop will be redirected to the ticketing booth for checking.

    Recreational Substances: Central Sands is a high school and therefore all recreational substances are strictly prohibited. This includes all tobacco products, pipes, e-cigs, vapes and any other smoke or vapor producing devices. Any beverages containing alcohol are strictly prohibited in addition to other substances against WI law (ex: marijuana). Guests found under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave without refund. Guests found smoking tobacco products will be asked to remove them from the Faire grounds or escorted from the event if non-compliant.

    Animals/Pets: Service animals are permitted on school grounds. All other animals are prohibited. Service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness and under control of their owner at all times. Please do not leave animals in your vehicle parked across from the Faire. The authorities will be called in such cases, where appropriate.

    Commercial Photography: As a condition of entering the property, attendees grant Central Sands permission to be photographed, filmed, and video/audio recorded on-premises without compensation for any reason. Commercial photography of every kind is prohibited within the Central Sands Renaissance Faire without explicit written consent from Central Sands Community High School.

    Carry-ins:

    • Water bottles are allowed

    • Diaper bags and small backpacks/messenger bags are allowed at this time. Large bags (suitcases, duffel bags) are prohibited. Bags may be subject to bag check (see further below)

    • Outside food is prohibited with the following exceptions

      • Food required for medical purposes

      • Dietary restrictions

      • Baby food/formula

    Bag Checks: All persons, bags, parcels, clothing, and other items may be subject to screening/security checks within our site and at the ticketing entrance. We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel, or other items to be brought into the event and to deal with any unattended object in such a way as we consider appropriate. We recommend you leave unnecessary articles in your car and secure valuables in your trunk.

    Prohibited Activities:
    The following activities are not allowed at the Central Sands Renaissance Faire:

    1. The unauthorized sale of goods or services or the display of goods or services for sale.

    2. The distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind.

    3. Impeding or misrepresenting the operation of the event in any way, for example: posing as a sanctioned performer and engaging with other Guests whilst impersonating or portraying any character in costume and thereby hampering the scheduled events or giving a false impression of the organizer’s intents.

    4. Unauthorized events, demonstrations, or speeches, or the usage of any flag, banner, or sign for commercial purposes, or to incite a crowd.

    5. Photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind for commercial purposes.
